BITSD for Global Functions is part of UPM Business IT Services organisation. It owns and drives the development of IT solutions and services for Global Functions.

BITSD Finance Capabilities and Solution team is responsible for the development of IT solutions for Finance and Control in order to enable accurate, reliable, effective and compliant accounting and reporting solutions for UPM businesses and functions. The team works in close co-operation with Finance & Control teams, Global Functions, Businesses and other IT teams.

We are now looking for a highly motivated Senior Expert for a

SOLUTION CONCEPT OWNER, RECORD TO REPORT FINANCE SOLUTIONS

position. The position is permanent, starting as soon as possible.

Record to Report process includes solutions like General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Tax and Statutory accounting, period end closing and integration to group reporting.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

You will be the key player in finding new ideas, practices and solutions in continuous solution development towards world class global solutions.

You will also:
- Participate proactively to solution development and continuous improvement for specified RTR solutions in close co-operation with Finance, Treasury, Sourcing, Businesses, IT and other internal and external partners
- Participate / lead business or IT driven projects
- Participate in the continuous dialog between Finance and IT to be able to react in time for coming changes and needs.
- Look proactively for new alternatives and solutions with cost efficiency and quality.

Your main tasks will be to:
- Act as point of contact for specified RTR Finance solution(s)
- Own, develop and validate changes to specified RtR solution(s) globally
- Be responsible for high-quality and up-to-date concept documentation
- Provide and share knowledge of specified solution to relevant stakeholders
- Be responsible for solution design, specifications and validation on own solution responsibility area in projects and business enhancements
- Have continuous knowledge and understanding of solution relevant technology offering and opportunities

Requirements

- Master’s or bachelor’s degreelevel degree or professional qualification in finance
- 5-10 years' experience in finance accounting and reporting tasks and/or development projects
- Experience of finance process and concept development and harmonisation work
- Deep understanding and knowledge of RTR Finance solutions (especially SAP FICO), integration, authorization and controls
- Strong project and team work skills
- Analytical and independent working style
- Result-driven way of working demonstrating out-of-the-box thinking
- Strong change management and communication skills
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
